CONFESSION AND ABSOLUTION As we are learning in our Lenten series about God's gift of forgiveness, I would like to remind you that I am always available for Individual Confession and Absolution. Whether troubled by "big" or "little" sins, all of us benefit from confessing our sins out loud and then in turn hearing God's forgiveness pronounced for those sins. Individual confession is done in complete confidentiality; as an ordain pastor I am bound never to speak of any sins confessed. The sins are confessed to God. I hear the confession not in order to judge, but to forgive. This gift of Individual Confession and Absolution is a powerful defense against the attacks of the devil, who is always seeking to turn our faith away from Christ. You are always welcome to contact me and set up a time with me for confession. In Christ, Pastor Hansen
LENTEN DEVOTIONS There are two Lenten daily devotions available on the table in the Narthex. One corresponds with out Lenten series "God's Gift of Forgiveness," and the other is from Lutheran Hour Ministries and is entitled "Jesus Christ: Man on a Mission." More copies of the Lutheran Hour devotions can be made.
FLOWERS FOR EASTER On Easter Sunday we will again be using Easter lilies, potted tulips or any spring flower to adorn our altar. The flower committee will be happy to purchase the flowers, or you may contact Gloria Krob or Vickie Ozburn if you wish to bring in your own flowers. Please have them at the church no earlier than Saturday, April 7. There are envelopes for monetary donations on the table in the Narthex. Donations can be placed in the offering plate or given to Gloria or Vickie. Please make checks out to the church with "Easter Flowers" in the memo line. Please have your monetary donations in by Sunday, April 1.
LWR KITS During March the Priscilla Guild is collecting items for fabric kits for Lutheran World Relief. Items needed for one kit are as follows:
- two pieces of cotton-blend fabric (no knits or 100% polyester); fabric should have no stains or holes and be cut into pieces measuring:
2 1/4 yds. of 60" wide fabric, OR
3 yds. of 44" wide fabric, OR
4 yds. of 36" wide fabric
- Two spools of matching general purpose thread, 259-300 yds. each.

SUMMER CAMP Financial aid money has been made available through our church to help youth experience Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca this summer. We would like for the money to go to youth who would not be able to otherwise experience camp due to financial limitations. Depending on the interest, an entire registration may be covered. If you have a child, or know of a child or family who would benefit from this opportunity, please contact Crysten. If you need more information about which camps are available and when they are happening, there are brochures on the table in the Narthex or go to www.campiodiseca.org.
